Management
FAIRPLANT is managed by both directors. The physical execution of all the work is done by an
enthusiastic crew in which tasks are distributed, and which most of all functions as an effective
team.
A brief introduction

Jacob Strockmeijer, (Director) has built up extensive experience in trading plants over
the past few decades. Over the years, he has come to know many arboriculturalists.
They are customers who understand their profession and know what requirements the
plants need to meet to be able to successfully cultivate trees. They are suppliers
who know the responsibility they carry in their production of source material for
tree cultivation.

| Gerard Blok, (Director) is the owner of Boomkwekerij Blok, where primarily fruit tree
rootstock and avenue trees are cultivated. With his years of experience and expertise
Gerard Blok knows how to produce plants of outstanding quality. The production fields
of Boomkwekerij Blok are situated in Noordoostpolder and in Poland, where he has
exceptional quality land. |

Stefan Strockmeijer, (Sales, Shipping) is one of Jacob’s sons. After a successful education
at the Middelbare Tuinbouw School in Frederiksoord and various international internships,
he wanted nothing more than to get to work as a professional arboriculturalist. With 7 years
of experience with a number of trading companies in the Netherlands, he had laid an excellent
foundation to enter service with FAIRPLANT in 2006. His knowledge and experience are
of vital importance for the control, processing, packaging and shipping of plants.
He is also involved in sales and going to visit business relations.

Miranda van der Bend, (Administration) has reinforced the team since January of 2010, and
with more than 20 years of experience as commercial, administrative associate she knows as
no other what’s necessary to let the company function administratively. Besides the bookkeeping
and other administrative tasks, she also works on the logistics, accounts receivable, and as receptionist.

In the delivery season, FAIRPLANT can count on the efforts of a highly motivated and enthusiastic
crew of skilled part-time employees. All in all we have a fantastic club of people who, with
great pleasure and skill, ensure that the plants sold reach the customer in the right way.
